NO SURPRISE HERE
A Mary Beth Schneider article in the April 26 issue of the Indianapolis Star addressed the degree by which Indiana lawmakers followed the suggestion of Governor Daniels that they return 13% of their pay to the state: Thereby to the taxpayers.
Not surprisingly, only four, all Republicans, of the twelve legislative leadership honored the Governor’s request. They were: Hendricks Count’s own Senator Connie Lawson, Senator David Long, along with Brian Bosma and Kathy Kreag Richardson who serve in the house.
At least six other legislators, not in leadership, were also said to have honored the request of the Governor. Luke Kenley and Tim Brown, both Republicans, were two of these six. The other four were not identified.

The second, an email entitled “Let’s keep in touch” was received from Senator Bayh. He must now be thinking about his image before the next election. Linden wishes we had a person who actually lives in Indiana filling that seat.
