THE NOBLE NOBEL?
Linden has long had an appreciation for the comedic value of John Cleese as he depicted Basil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers. This is not nearly the only thing Linden has found funny or a joke in his years on this earth. Few things can top the Nobel Prize Committee in its awarding of The Peace Prize to President Obama. If this is not a joke, Linden will probably refuse their Literature Award when it is offered.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Thursday included the usual breakfast meeting—Bill and Jack were absent. This was followed by a Golden Glows pitch-in luncheon – I took purchased brownies- great meal and the program regarding the worldwide efforts of FAME in their medical evangelism efforts was great also.
The major event on Friday, other than the usual Men’s Prayer Breakfast was when my downstairs radio came on loudly after I had been asleep about an hour. I had not turned it off correctly.
Saturday was pretty much a loss—particularly the I.U. effort in their football game at Virginia.
Sunday brought the usual church related involvements. Little else.

JEREMIAH 10:1 – 18:23
Jeremiah is threatened because he brings the warnings from The LORD. Although disaster is promised, The LORD promises to restore them after a time.

COLOSSIANS 3:18 – THESSALONIANS 5:3
Paul writes a series of instructions and closes Colossians with various personal messages. Paul greets those in the church at Thessalonica and is aware of their sufferings. His letter is full of appreciation for their service and he gives instructions as to how to strengthen their faith.
