PEW RESEARCH CENTER

PEW RESEARCH CENTER
A recent survey by The Pew Research Center presented interesting (to Linden) snapshots of public opinion regarding our “leaders” in Washington, D.C.

22% of those surveyed say they can trust the Washington government most of the time while 19% say they are basically content with the federal government.

25% expressed a favorable opinion of Congress…about half of what it was a year ago. Both of these surveys returned results that were among the least favorable yet recorded.

Linden has before expressed his personal lack of faith in poll results and this one is no exception to this expressed belief. He has to believe that the favorable ratings are not nearly this high. How could he be wrong?

The links below bring you another scary view of our “leadership”, a touching and Linden believes a true story, and some old time music.

LINDEN'S LIFE
This was another in a long series of not overly productive days. A note from Cheryl said that she had attended an event in Louisville where Sarah Palin was the headliner…spoke for about one hour. Cheryl said that 16,000 were in attendance. In the evening, nine guys from my church went to Greenwood Christian for dinner and a program as part of the support for Camp Allendale effort. Watched 24 when I got home…missed the first ten minutes.
