SLOW BUT VERY WELCOME PROGRESS:The contests between the four Republicans attempting to win the right to represent the Party in November may well have been uninspiring to this point. But, think how much less inspiring it would be to have a candidate who was elected four years ago with no record of accomplishment. It, for the democrats, is even worse now…that candidate has a record of incompetence that is unequaled in the history of our country.
The major election related progress that has been made to this point in 2012 is that Barney Frank decided not to run for reelection in Massachusetts and Dennis Kucinich lost in his primary reelection effort in Ohio. Life is good, Spring is coming and more good things are to come. Hallelujah!!!

OTHER STUFF:
Wednesday morning brought breakfast at Chick-fil-A followed by stops at two stores, the credit union and the post office. In the evening, Wes and Suzie picked me up and we went to the Hendricks County Lincoln Day Dinner…Governor Daniels was the speaker and a great speaker he is! I saw many people that I no longer see as often as I once did…it was great. Richard Mourdock, who is running to replace Richard Lugar in the Indiana race for the senate, talked to me for a bit as I was entering the food line. He mentioned when we first met. Impressive candidate! The food was great too.
