Linden will readily admit that he has not always been thrilled with John Boehner’s leadership of the House of Representatives. But, compared to the leadership offered in the Senate and from the White House, he is a knight in shining honor. He has never seemed to be as committed as he should be to the conservative values: too ready to compromise and usually compromise is a loser for the Republicans. In the article linked below Boehner places the responsibility for any bad results of sequestration squarely on the shoulders of Obama. After all, Obama did say in November of 2011 that he would veto any effort to do away with that approach. Now, Panetta is saying that the immediate result will be furloughs for 800,000 DOD workers. Sounds to Linden like they have way more employees than is actually needed. Read the article linked below and you may disagree with Linden if you wish.
