STRIKE TWO ON DONNELLY
You may remember the January 16 posting which called strike one on Donnelly: it was called for Donnelly not actively opposing Harry Reid as leader of the Senate. It is possible that Linden should have called strike two on Donnelly for not opposing the confirmation of Kerry as Secretary of State but, since he was replacing an equally untalented Secretary, the strike was not called. Sadly, Donnelly was with the lockstep democrats and four mistaken Republicans in voting for the confirmation of Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense. This is the basis for the called strike two.

Wednesday morning brought breakfast at Chick-fil-A followed by going to a store and the post office. My computer died in the late afternoon. In the evening I had dinner and attended a program at church.
