A DESIRED BUDGET CUT
At a time when our leaders continue to overspend our federal income by roughly one thousand five hundred billion dollars per year (can you even imagine a billion?) it may seem like a waste of time to even suggest saving less than a million of our precious dollars. But, Linden, believing that taking even a baby step in the direction of frugality, is a worthwhile step, offers the following suggestion: Defund the USDA in the amount of pay wasted on the consultant mentioned in the below link and the amount given to those USDA employees who authorized this insult to taxpayers. Sure it may only save less than half a million dollars but it seems like a most desirable step.

I started my Monday by attending the legislative breakfast in Danville then returned home to catch up on the sleep I had missed the night before. Later, I went to the post office and by the church for a few minutes. Quiet day.
