PROUD OF INDIANA REPUBLICANS

At this time, when many Republican incumbents, candidates, supporters and interested observers are doing the "the sky is falling" routine, Indianapolis Republicans have quickly and efficiently stepped forward with a candidate after the slated candidate decided to abandon his campaign.
How great it would be if there were such efficient efforts across the nation. It is not possible to predict at this time how many Congressional Districts will be ceded to the democrats in the November election - but there will be several. That is shameful! The caring people in those Districts deserve better and the democrats who will "serve" in those Districts need to know that they have some who are not sold on their ability to serve our country
It has been at least ten years since Linden has been even marginally active politically in Marion county where the Indiana Seventh District is located so, it is fair to say that he is out of touch there. He does know that he has been less than favorably impressed with the efforts made by the current democrat officeholder who has held that office only a short time.
So, congratulations to Gabrielle Campo for being the Republican candidate and congratulations to the Republican party in Marion county for efficiently doing the job that should be the primary focus of every like organization. Linden is proud of both the candidate and the party.

LINDEN'S LIFE
Friday brought the usual early morning Men's Prayer Breakfast at Church, had a very pleasant and long telephone conversation with Julie and put together a package of 15 poems for editing.
Saturday, had another early morning breakfast meeting at Kingsway church and then attended an Avon Writers Group meeting. We had some fun writing exercises.
Sunday started with church services, Sunday school and brunch with friends. In the afternoon, visited with old friends - I wanted them to see a picture of Jade. Attended very nice evening church services. They were scheduled for the shady grove on the North property but a heavy rain forced the service inside. Ice cream and talk followed the service. Carol, of the Indianapolis TCM office, said she needed a few more short term workers in Austria: I would love to go but would have to be much stronger than is the current situation. Maybe prayer will allow me to consider the trip. Hope so.
