BETTING ON THE COME
At one time, and perhaps to the present day, this was a common expression at the poker and craps tables. It was used in conjunction with the hope that, often again high odds, you would get the card or roll the dice to obtain what was needed to give you a good chance of winning. This is somewhat the same situation the Republicans are in if they believe that the democrats will reduce spending in the future if they are granted tax increases now. We have witnessed these situations before where the gullible Republicans believed, to their sorrow, the promises of the democrats. Please don’t let it happen again.

Thursday brought the usual breakfast meeting and, later in the day, problems with the computer which lasted thru Saturday and maybe a small amount remains. Friday and Saturday were men’s breakfast dates and church and Sunday school attendance on Sunday followed by brunch with friends. Later, watched the Colts win on the last play of the game.
Monday and Tuesday resulted in no broadband access…if this appears on Wednesday, that problem is in the past.
