OBAMA ONCE WAS HONEST
Unfortunately for America that appears to be no longer the case. The two quotes below were excerpted from a message from morningbell@heritage.org  and seem to adequately address the difference between then and now.
Senator Obama in 2006:
The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies.
He also said in 2006:
Leadership means that "the buck stops here." Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.

MOSTLY ABOUT ME       lswift8@aol.com
On Wednesday I had breakfast at Chick-fil-A, did a load of wash, and went to the post office. Later, had a new right eye lens put in my glasses…may have improved my vision a bit. In the evening I had dinner and attended a program at church. Then, watched Butler win a basketball game.
