BIG SHOES TO FILL
The announced departure of Senator DeMint from the Senate is disappointing news, indeed. We need all the conservative voices we can get to try to move that body toward sanity. It is so ineffective as to render it impossible to describe. There are several new or relatively new conservative voices now in the Senate and it must be ensured that DeMint is replaced with one who is close to his level of conservative thought. The Heritage Foundation, one of Linden’s favorite organizations, will continue to serve under DeMint’s leadership and we can only pray that the conservative cause does not suffer because of this change.
Thursday brought the breakfast session with 3 of the guys, 2 were missing. Then, I went to 3 stores, the post office and by the church. Ron picked me up at lunch time and we went to White Castle. Dan and Diana dropped by my place for coffee and conversation.
