BETTER LATE THAN NEVER
Linden believes that the entire credit for this price reduction should be given to our President, George W. Bush. If you remember, when he gave his support to the development of U.S. oil reserves, our price paid at the pump immediately started to fall. Of course, if Congress fails to act responsibly, the price will start to inch back up again.
Although certainly not rich, Linden can afford an occasional unwarranted $5.00 hit. His feelings are for the hardship the previous prices have brought to those not as fortunate as he is. This includes many, many of the struggling single parents and more than a few who are married. I hope they include their thanks to our President in their prayers today.
If those who favor high gas prices (congressional democrats) would have followed the lead of our President, then maybe Linden could have saved around $20.00 today and that is a very significant amount to him.
All congressional races should be in play this year and they will be if the Republicans properly frame their case.
